Everything You Need to Know About Modular Homes — Answered
A modular home is a permanent structure built in multiple sections inside a climate-controlled factory. Those sections are transported to your property and set on a permanent foundation. Once completed, a modular home is indistinguishable from a traditional stick-built home and must meet or exceed all local and state building codes.
Modular homes are not mobile homes. Modular homes are built to local and state residential building codes, placed on permanent foundations, and appraised like traditional homes. Manufactured homes are built to federal HUD standards and are not the same product.
Factory construction typically takes 6–10 weeks, depending on design and manufacturer. Because site work happens at the same time as factory construction, overall timelines are often months faster than traditional stick-built homes.
Modular homes can be fully customized, including floor plans, room sizes, ceiling heights, kitchens, bathrooms, exterior styles, and finishes. We can modify existing plans or build from scratch — modular does not mean limited.
We work with multiple premium manufacturers, offer true customization, provide education upfront, assist with land evaluation, and guide clients through financing and planning — not just construction.
